the history behind our name
In the early 1900s the corner we now know to be Montcalm & Grand River was part of "Old River Road" that was home to the original Starbard Farms.
Starting the family business
After Lowell's local feed store, Blue Ribbon, closed in 2012, we decided to open the doors of our little red barn and start Starbard Farms Feed!
oh how we've grown!
Since 2012, we outgrew the little red barn and built our new barn in 2014. Business has grown so much we decided to add on in the summer of 2021! As our growth continues, we are making plans to expand buildings even more!
